Gordon Hamilton, Managing Director
Gordon founded Alpha Helix after buying out Nexus Corporate Finance from the Nexus Group. Gordon has over twenty years' experience advising healthcare companies, both public and private, domestic and international on a range of transactions and financial products.
Steve Travers, Senior Advisor
Steve joined the Alpha Helix team as a Senior Advisor in February 2021 having had a successful executive level career in the healthcare services sector for almost 15 years.
Sam Rolls, Associate Director
Sam is responsible for assisting with all aspects of deal delivery. He previously worked for Darwin Alternatives, an alternative investment fund. He is a certified CFA charterholder and has also passed the IMC exams.
Bettina Salomon, Analyst
Bettina joined Alpha Helix as an analyst in September 2019. She is responsible for assisting Gordon with deal coordination. Prior to joining Alpha Helix, Bettina was an intern at Nexus Investments.
Christian Bestel, Analyst
Chris performs research, analysis and financial modelling for Alpha Helix. He previously worked at Deloitte in South Africa for three years and completed a three-month secondment in Boston.
Louis de Wet, Analyst
Louis performs research, analysis and financial modelling for Alpha Helix. He holds a BCom degree in Statistics and Investment Management from Stellenbosch University

We are pleased to announce that on 12th March of this year, Gordon Hamilton led the MBO of Nexus Corporate Finance (NCF), therefore we have re-branded as Alpha Helix Corporate Finance (AHCF).
The team will remain unchanged and will continue to provide independent advice to exciting and fast-growing UK SMEs in the Healthcare and Education sectors.
